Sunday Stash: a second look!

This week i am hosting a second Sunday Stash* link party on behalf of Molli Sparkles, who is still away gallivanting on glitter unicorns, or whatever he does when he is not sewing. Molli is my fellow Juki Brand Ambassador and I have a great interview with him from last year which you should definitely check out. Actually, I just looked and it was two years ago. Say what? Anyway, I believe he is back on next week and I’m the lucky one who got to open and close the travelling Sunday Stash party.

*If you don’t know what the Sunday Stash is, its a round up of recent fabric purchases. Basically we show off our shopping!

Cotton Couture Solids
Can these Cotton Couture Solid colours be any richer?

The second month of the Polka Dot Tea Cotton Couture Club arrived in my letter box last week and I am really enjoying seeing how we are moving through the colour wheel. The Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids are seriously amazing. Their colours are so rich and the cotton so fine. I might have to order lots more of that dark teal…

It doesn't matter if you are black and white!
It doesn’t matter if you are black and white!

I picked up these black and white prints at Hobbysew after teaching a class there during March. It is definitely dangerous working in a quilt shop! These prints will go into the no waste flying geese quilt I have been making. I really love black and white prints and will usually pick some up when I pop past a shop. They never go out of style, so they’re hard to resist!

Raspberry Leather

Finally, I picked up this leather in the most incredible shade of pink from Lindsay at Sew to Grow. Lindsay is fabulous designer and makes killer clothing patterns. OM to the G, the JetSet Jumpsuit is the best thing ever. If you are into dressmaking, you must check her out. I have some grand plans for that Raspberry Leather – I can’t wait to put my Juki to the leather test!

Who doesn't love a mini quilt swap!
Who doesn’t love a mini quilt swap!

The last thing I have been busy with last moth is the release of the Modern Colour Workshop ebook. I’m so crazy excited to release the book and so I am hosting a mini quilt swap to celebrate. Based on creative exercise three in the book, the idea is that you submit an inspiration image and your partner makes you a mini quilt based on that. Sound fun, right?

Well, that’s it from me! Next week the Sunday Stash will be returning to its regular programming, but in the meantime, link up your Stash!
